-read Act IV, scene i and skimmed through scene ii

For the Weekend
-finishing touches on essays (due Monday or Tuesday)
Do not make the same mistakes on this essay as you did the first.  Compare the two and be sure to give your final, good copy a careful self edit.  Remember, the good copy is the most important copy.
-answer Act IV, scene i questions
-read Act IV, scene iii and answer questions

Hints
Look at the fears she has before drinking the potion - most of the fears you guessed, in class, that she would have - and the two reasons she gives before drinking it:
1.  The Friar, as long as she has known him, has been a holy man (so she has no reason to doubt his motives).
2.  Her resolve to be with Romeo is stronger than her fears.

3C1
-corrected chapter 10
-finished movie

For the Weekend
-study for Monday's test
-focus on plot (what happens), characters and what they do, irony and conflict

Test Reminders
Use your chapter questions - fill ins/true-false - to review plot and characters.
Use your notes from overheads and short answer questions to review irony and the more detailed type, short answer questions you will see on the test.
Remember, do not confuse the book with the movie.  We are interested in the book.
