Media Assignment Day 2

We've completed Step 1 - a chart on the codes of film making

Now onto Step 2.

Application portion - Applying these terms to a scene from a movie

Step 3.  Watch this short video:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWPz0-iYTTw

(Spoiler Alert - there may be a curse word or two, but they are not mean or malicious in intent, the words come more out of fear)

Step 4.  Go get a question sheet from D'Angela on this scene.  Watch the scene a couple of more times and then answer the questions.

You will need your chart from yesterday to refer to the terms and techniques.

Monday, February 10, 2014

Media Library Assignment

Knowledge portion - Learning new terms

Step 1.  Get a handout from D'Angela on some technical terms.  You are on a web quest to define and give a reason they are used in film (what effect they create).  You can watch the video we watched yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFUKRTFhoiA and pause and write or type in the term and research it.

However, to better understand the technique, I would like it if you defined the term but also visualized (saw it) as well again, but it is up to you.
