-"Fine Folks" in ch 13 - Scout's definition: they are people who do the best with what they've got vs Aunt Alexandra's definition: the longer you've lived on land, your family name and family background is what defines you

-Dill's appearance in ch 14; Scout upset with Jem because he sides with the adults ie tells Atticus that Dill has run away

-the two mobs in ch 15 - one for good, one for violence, Scout unknowingly using both sympathy and empathy toward Walter Cunningham Sr

-introduction to Dolphus Raymond in ch 16, he believes in equality, but is he fighting for it?
